The most widely specified grade worldwide. Excellent corrosion resistance in most atmospheric and mildly chemical environments, good formability, and non-magnetic in annealed condition.

SS 316 (A4) – Marine and Chemical Grade

Contains 2-3% molybdenum, giving superior resistance to chlorides, salt spray, and industrial chemicals. Specify for coastal installations, chemical plants, pharmaceutical equipment, and food processing.
